PrivacyPolicy

We take your privacy seriously. Here's exactly what we collect, why we collect it, and how we use it.

1. Information We Collect

When you create an account or use Orbly, we collect information you provide directly to us. This includes your name, email address, and phone number. If you are a service owner, we also collect your business title, description, address, and thumbnail image for your public profile. We do not collect payment card details directly — all payments are processed securely by our payment provider.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to operate and improve Orbly, process your subscription, and allow customers to discover and book your services. We may use your email address to send you important service updates, booking notifications, and account-related communications. We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

3. Sharing of Information

We share your information only as necessary to provide our services. Service owners' public profile information (name, title, description, address, thumbnail) is visible to anyone who visits their booking page. We share information with our payment provider to process transactions. We may disclose information if required by law or to protect the rights and safety of Orbly and its users.

4. Data Retention

We retain your account information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide services. If you delete your account, we will delete or anonymize your personal information within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it for legal or compliance purposes.

5. Cookies

Orbly uses cookies and similar tracking technologies to maintain your session and remember your preferences. We use session cookies (which expire when you close your browser) and persistent cookies (which remain until deleted). You can control cookies through your browser settings, though disabling them may affect the functionality of the platform.

6. Security

We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your personal information from unauthorized access, disclosure, or loss. However, no internet transmission is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. We encourage you to use a strong, unique password for your Orbly account.

7. Your Rights

You have the right to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you. You may also object to or restrict certain processing of your data. To exercise any of these rights, please reach out to us via our Contact page. We will respond to your request within 30 days.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the effective date at the top of this page and notify you by email if the changes are significant. Your continued use of Orbly after any changes means you accept the updated policy.
